Gudni Vilmundarson is Director of Services and Managing Partner at Amicis Solutions. For more than a decade, he has focused his career on developing technology for the retail, hospitality and convenience store industries. Prior to Amicis Solutions, he was the Director of Consulting Services for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Gudni has held senior management roles in consulting services as well as solution development, where he has overseen the conception and development of the technology, all the way through to sales, delivery and implementation. Gudni holds a Computer Science graduate degree from the University of Iceland.
Ryan Storandt is Principal Solution Architect at Amicis Solutions. He is a skilled technical architect with comprehensive experience designing, developing and deploying architectures and infrastructure for software applications. Ryan has a proven ability to lead project teams and deliver solutions of the highest quality, often in complex and challenging customer environments. Additionally, he has experience with ERP implementations at retail department stores, fashion/apparel stores, furniture stores, restaurants, visitor centers, food courts, gas stations, convenience stores, e-commerce sites, and call centers. Ryan’s implementation experience includes configuration, workshops, training, requirement gathering, design, delivery, and operations.
Justin V. Aggelakos brings to Amicis Solutions more than 15 years of experience in corporate marketing, sales and finance. He is an accomplished B2B marketing professional with experience building brand awareness, creating marketing strategy and driving demand generation. As Amicis Solutions’ Director of Marketing, he is focused on leading all marketing operations for the company, including execution of global marketing strategy and brand awareness for the business. Prior to joining Amicis Solutions, Justin held a leadership position as Director of Marketing at JustEnough Software. In this role he was responsible for leading the company ́s marketing strategy and marketing operations. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing.
Yung Cheung serves as Director of Operations at Amicis Solutions. She has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of retail and hospitality systems, business operations and management. Prior to joining Amicis Solutions, Yung held leadership positions in business operations management, ERP consulting and project management. Yung has overseen multiple large-scale, retail ERP solution implementations across a variety of industries and retail verticals. She brings a valued leadership perspective to her colleagues and customers from her deep understanding of how people, processes and systems connect at all levels of an organization. She takes a hands-on approach with her customers while providing leadership and oversight to development, consulting and project teams. The relationships she builds with customers and teams creates a powerful synergy that brings people together in complex situations to overcome challenges and find solutions.
Runar Sigurbjartarson is the CEO and President of Amicis Solutions. As a 20-year software veteran supporting retail and hospitality companies with their technology implementations, Runar is focused on delivering customer value and solutions that drive business transformation. He is also passionate about nurturing a customer-first culture that empowers its employees and is guided by a set of core values that include honesty, integrity, respect and perseverance and accountability. Prior to founding Amicis Solutions, Runar held several executive management roles, including the Regional Director of The Americas position for a leading software firm, where he led large software implementations and system upgrades at top retailers, hospitality brands and convenience stores. Runar received his education at Reykjavik University.
Snorri Gunnarsson brings more than 19 years of international retail and food and beverage experience, as well as a deep understanding of global cultures and business to his role as a business development director and managing partner at Amicis Solutions. Snorri was in international consulting and business development architecture working in the United States, Scandinavia, France, the United Kingdom and Germany – providing services to Microsoft and large organizations in the domain of retail and hospitality. Prior to co-founding Amicis Solutions, Snorri was the regional director for a leading software provider and integrator of solutions for retail and hospitality throughout the Americas. A results-driven strategist, Snorri provides expert domain knowledge, relationship management and strategic guidance to client´s digital transformation journey. He builds trust through a demonstrated ability to optimize performance and achieve desired results, as well as a passion for delivering the highest value to clients. Snorri received his education in Mathematics and Accounting at Piedmont College and Computer Science at the University of Reykjavik.
